1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "Terms") govern the use of the OpenChantier platform (hereinafter "the Service").

The Service is a web-based project management application designed for tradespeople and small construction businesses.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Use of the Service constitutes full acceptance of these Terms. By creating an account, the User acknowledges having read and accepted these Terms without reservation.

3. Registration and account

Access to the Service requires creating an account. The User agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

The User is responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential. Any activity carried out from their account is deemed to have been performed by them.

4. Description of the Service

OpenChantier provides the following features:

  • Project management (creation, tracking, archiving)
  • Taking and storing site photos
  • Time tracking per project
  • Quote and invoice generation (Pro plan)
  • Progress sharing with clients via secure link
  • Team management and collaboration

Available features depend on the subscribed plan (Free or Pro).

5. Plans and pricing

The Service is offered in two plans:

  • Free plan: up to 3 active projects, unlimited photos and time tracking.
  • Pro plan (£15/month): unlimited projects, invoicing, interactive client sharing, team management and analytics.

Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes. The Publisher reserves the right to change prices with 30 days' notice to Users.

6. Personal data

The processing of personal data is detailed in our Privacy Policy. The User consents to the processing of their data in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection legislation.

7. Intellectual property

All elements comprising the Service (text, graphics, software, trademarks, etc.) are the exclusive property of the Publisher or its partners.

The User retains full ownership of content they publish via the Service (photos, documents, project data).

8. Liability

The Publisher undertakes to use all reasonable means to ensure the availability and security of the Service.

The Publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.

The User is solely responsible for their use of the Service and the data they enter.

9. Termination

The User may cancel their account at any time from their account settings. Cancellation of the Pro plan takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

The Publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of breach of these Terms.

10. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by English law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
